Store Manager (Main Street)

We are seeking a charismatic store manager to join our Main Street team to lead with experience and enthusiasm. Our ideal candidate is passionate about circular fashion, sustainability, inclusivity, providing excellent customer experiences, and achieving sales goals that exceed expectations.

 

Job Summary:

The H&H Store Manager is responsible for management of all aspects of store operations. Key responsibilities include: recruitment, training, development and motivation of staff, fostering a culture of goal setting, learning and fun, payroll and sales planning, visual merchandising, inventory and pricing management and floor and customer service management.

 

Job Duties:

  • Recruitment, training, development and performance management of all
store staff (sales and curating teams)
  • Strategic scheduling to manage and optimize human resources, sales goals
and payroll budgets
  • Leading by example on the sales floor, offering genuine customer service
and in the moment coaching to your team an average of 30 hours per week
  • Strategic planning of motivational incentives and roll out of company wide
promotions & promotional material in your store
  • Organizing quarterly team building activities
  • Management of shop communication platforms - email, Slack, memos etc.
  • Strategic management of inventory, sell through and pricing - supports the
Stock Coordinator and Visual Merchandiser with receiving, processing and
merchandising new product shipments, oversees sorting selection and
scheduling, restock, pricing and maintenance of store merchandising
standards
  • Reporting weekly, bi-weekly and monthly to the senior leadership team
  • Delegating tasks and ensuring follow up after a given time frame
  • Responding to customer inquiries and/or complaints with a diplomatic approach, while
maintaining store policies


     

    Working Conditions:

    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
    • 30-34 hours per week (must be able to work an 8 hour shift on your feet)
    • Must be available to open and close at minimum once per week
    • Must be available to work one weekend day


       

      Qualifications:

      • Minimum 2 years exceptional customer service in a retail environment plus 1
year of leadership experience
      • Demonstrated communication and leadership skills - strong ability to coach
and motivate a team
      • Highly organized - able to prioritize, communicate and delegate tasks
efficiently
      • A strong eye for fashion and interest in learning about our product and
brand identity
      • Understands the consignment process and believes in circular fashion and sustainability
      • Ability to perform effective sales techniques, meet sales goals, and foster
long term relationships with customers

          Curator (Main Street)

          We are seeking a part-time Curator/Stylist for our Main Street location, with the potential for full-time opportunities in the future. Our ideal candidate will have a keen sense of fashion and trends, a meticulous eye for detail, and expertise in fabrics is an asset.

           

          Job Summary:

          The H&H Curator is responsible for selection and curation of consignment inventory and building long lasting relationships with consignors based on transparency and trust. Key responsibilities include: selection of consignment, management of the consignment process, data entry (account and consignment inventory), pricing and processing expired inventory. 

           

          Job Duties

          • Oversee all consignment selection 
          • Manage daily appointments and drop off experience 
          • Enter new consignor accounts, sending welcome emails and consignor access invites
          • Accurate maintenance of consignment inventory including consignor account information, items kept and reason codes 
          • Approach communication with consignors in a diplomatic way 
          • Maintaining store selection standards 
          • Processing expired inventory (donation and return to consignor)
          • Efficient, accurate and consistent pricing and entry of consignment inventory
          • Providing outstanding customer service outside of the consignment process and supporting the sales team on the floor 
          • Maintaining backroom and sorting station organization 

            Working Conditions:

            • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
            • 24-30 hours per week (must be able to work an 8 hour shift on your feet)
            • Must be available to open and close at minimum once per week
            • Must be available to work one weekend day

               

              Qualifications:

              • Demonstrated communication skills
              • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
              • Strong time management skills 
              • Fashion forward with strong knowledge of current trends 
              • Minimum 1 year exceptional customer service experience in a retail environment
              • Experience with clothing selection an asset

                  The H&H Sales Associate is responsible for building and maintaining long lasting relationships with H&H customers through authentic, caring and personal customer service. Key responsibilities include: product education, styling and suggestive selling, managing drop-off appointments, answering customer and consignor inquiries and maintaining store cleanliness, restock and merchandising standards.

                   

                  Job Duties

                  • Providing an outstanding customer experience through product education, styling and suggestive selling 
                  • Answer customer and consignor inquiries regarding wholesale and consignment inventory and consignor account status
                  • Manage daily appointments and drop off experience 
                  • Answering telephone and email inquiries 
                  • Accurate processing of transactions 
                  • Daily restock of product on the sales floor and styling mannequins when needed
                  • Maintaining store merchandising and cleanliness standards 
                  • Completing a weekly checklist 
                  • Accurate tagging of consignment inventory
                  • Maintaining front of house organization (cash desk supplies etc.) 
                  • Opening and closing if applicable

                  • 16-28 hours per week (must be able to work an 8 hour shift on your feet)
