Full Time Store Manager (Vancouver)

The H&H Store Manager is responsible for management of all aspects of store operations. Key responsibilities include: recruitment, training, development and motivation of staff, fostering a culture of goal setting, learning and fun, payroll and sales planning, visual merchandising, inventory and pricing management and floor and customer service management. 

Job Duties:  

  • Recruitment, training, development and performance management of all store staff (sales and sorting teams)
  • Strategic scheduling to manage and optimize human resources, sales goals and payroll budgets
  • Leading by example on the sales floor, offering genuine customer service and in the moment coaching to your team an average of 30 hours per week
  • Strategic planning of motivational incentives and roll out of company wide promotions & promotional material in your store 
  • Organizing bi-monthly team building activities
  • Management of shop communication platforms - email, Slack, memos etc. 
  • Strategic management of inventory, sell through and pricing - supports the Stock Coordinator and Visual Manager with receiving, processing and merchandising new product shipments, oversees sorting selection and scheduling, restock, pricing and maintenance of store merchandising standards
  • Reporting bi-weekly to the senior leadership team
  • Delegating tasks and ensuring follow up after a given timeframe
  • Responding to customer complaints with a diplomatic approach, while maintaining store policies

Working Conditions:

  • 30-38 hours per week (must be able to work an 8 hour shift on your feet)
  • Must be available to open and close at minimum once per week
  • Must be available to work Tuesday-Saturday

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years exceptional customer service in a retail environment plus 1 year of leadership experience
  • Demonstrated communication and leadership skills - strong ability to coach and motivate a team
  • Highly organized - able to prioritize, communicate and delegate tasks efficiently
  • A strong eye for fashion and interest in learning about our product and brand identity
  • Understands the consignment process and believes in recycling, reducing and reusing
  • Ability to perform effective sales techniques, meet sales goals, and foster long term relationships with customers
